25 Years of Villa Creek

Twenty-five years ago, we made an experimental house blend for the Villa Creek Restaurant called Avenger. We commandeered some space in a friend's cellar, purchased some fruit, and just had fun with it. It wasn't the beginning of a grand business plan or a carefully crafted brand. It was simply an opportunity to make a wine we wanted on our table, alongside good food and good company.

One vintage became another, and somewhere along the way, that little experiment became Villa Creek Cellars and the Maha Estate.

Here we are, twenty-five years later, still chasing the same thing: crafting wines that speak of place, vintage, and the people who cared enough to grow them without compromise. And as we look back at 25 years of Villa Creek, we can't think of a better way to celebrate than by opening up the cellar.

We're offering a special collection of Villa Creek wines from both current and library vintages, including six-bottle verticals of Avenger, High Road, Garnacha, Roussanne, and ‘3’ Syrah, plus a 6 pack of a few of our one offs.

It’s a chance to revisit old favorites, discover vintages you may have missed, and taste how these wines have evolved over the years.

Twenty-five years, a lot of bottles, and one very good reason to open a few from the cellar. Cheers to what got us here, and to what comes next.
