100% Roussanne. This is a sneaky wine. In barrel it was amazing. Once racked to tank, it went and hid in the corner, tail between its legs. In other words, it lost its “muchness”. Two weeks after bottling that amazing creature showed back up. A shimmering ray of sunshine sparkles in the glass. Aromatics of honey, grilled stone fruits and honeysuckle create a giddy curiosity of what the wine will taste like. Expressive and full bodied on the palate loaded with peach, lemon curd, brioche, and limestone. This is a cake and eat it too wine! Absolutely delicious now AND will continue to give pleasure for years to come in your cellar! Drink 2022-2035

100% Roussanne. The sum of the parts can often be greater than the whole. In this case, the blending of James Berry and MAHA does just that. The older vines of James Berry bring texture and a riper stone fruit component while the younger MAHA vines offer a more tropical and energetic profile. A seductive 24k gold color catches your eye and draws you in. Aromas of pineapple, grilled stone fruits, and limestone transition to a palate that is full in body offering notes of peaches and apricots drizzled with MAHA honey atop a savory shortbread cookie. Amazing definition and texture come together on the finish to have you coming back for more. While showing well now, it will continue to develop and gain complexity for at least a decade. 100% Roussanne. Roussanne can tend to be a bit on the pendulous side of the white wine spectrum. We are fortunate in the western hills of Paso to get an ample amount of richness from our sunny days. This pairs well with acidity and tension imparted by limestone soils and extreme diurnal swings. This offering of Roussanne ticks all of our boxes. A blend of James Berry old vines and MAHA young vines fermented in 30 new French and Hungarian presents a golden straw color accented with a twinge of green apple. Intoxicating aromas of pineapple, chamomile, ocean mist, and wet limestone transcend to an explosive palate filled with notes of grilled stone fruits, brioche, and lemon curd. Finishing with a zesty snap, it calls you back for more. Enjoy with a salad of tomatoes, burrata, hazelnuts and a lemon vinaigrette or Halibut with braised fennel and brown butter. Drink 2024-2036

100% Roussanne. Pineapple, grilled peaches, sea spray, and marzipan conjure a summer evening in the Western Hills of Paso Robles. The palate is fresh yet taut, with great length, showing notes of honeysuckle, peach cobbler, and almond blossom. A perfect balance of fruit and savory, with just a touch of umami to keep you going back for more. Drink 2025–2035

100% Roussanne. You know how the color white is technically the visual reflection of the entire spectrum of color at once? That’s kinda how this wine tastes. An elegant blend of old and new vines gives a spectrum of flavors that strike a harmonic balance on the palate. The old-vine JBV fruit occupies the lower end of the spectrum and brings with it honeyed fruits, quince, and jasmine. To complement it, we have the Maha fruit, bright and lovely with its notes of sea salt, preserved lemon, and fresh pear. This is a wine that you can enjoy at any temperature and in any setting.
