Pull up a seat in our rustic-modern tasting room, tucked into the hills of west Paso Robles. It's a relaxed, private introduction to our Rhône-style wines, with a lineup that shifts with the seasons and the vintages. Most of what you'll taste comes from the Regenerative Organic Certified® slopes right outside the door, along with fruit from a handful of organic vineyards we love across the Central Coast.
Consider it a chance to slow down, taste through the wines, and get to know the place, the people, and the farming behind what's in your glass.

Past, Present, and Future: The Maha Estate Experience
Come walk the Maha with us. This is the closest you'll get to seeing how we farm and make wine without pulling a shift at the sorting table: a guided tour of our Regenerative Organic Certified® estate, followed by wines that span what's in the bottle now, what's resting in barrel, and what's been quietly getting better in the library.
We'll start on foot, wandering the vineyard to talk soil health, biodiversity, and the sheep and chickens who do a lot of the heavy lifting around here. You'll also meet the real star of the show: an ancient seabed packed with limestone (and the occasional 14-million-year-old whale fossil) that gives Maha wines their backbone. From there, we head to the top of the property for a seated tasting of current-release Maha® wines, with the west Paso Robles hills rolling out in every direction.
Next stop is the cellar, where we'll pull samples straight from barrel for a sneak peek at what's coming. We wrap up in the tasting room with a curated library selection, proof that these wines know how to age and evolve gracefully.

WINE TASTING FROM THE VAULT
The Vault: Villa Creek Then and Now
Twenty-five years in, we've tucked away a few bottles along the way, and The Vault is where we finally pull them out. You'll taste current Villa Creek releases side by side with wines from our library, which is about as close to time travel as a tasting gets.
Older vintages tell their own story, and it's a fun one to hear firsthand: how the wines have changed, what they've held onto, and why we're happy to let some bottles nap in the cellar a little longer. Guests often ask how long our wines can age. The Vault is our favorite way to answer that question: in a glass.
A few library wines may be available to take home in very limited quantities. Others are bottles we've been saving just to open with you, so no two Vault tastings are quite the same.
PICNIC TABLE RESERVATION
Enhance Your Visit with a Post-Tasting Picnic
To let the wines truly speak for themselves, we kindly ask that food be saved for after your tasting. It gives your palate a clean slate and lets our team guide you through each pour without distraction.
Should you wish to linger, we invite you to reserve one of our picnic tables and enjoy an unhurried hour among the vines. Tables are available between 11 am and 2 pm for guests with a tasting reservation.

HOURS. Monday - Wednesday: 11am to 3 pm (last appointment at 2 pm), Thursday - Sunday: 10 am to 4 pm (last appointment at 3 pm)
RESERVATIONS. Wine tasting reservations can be made online for parties of one to six guests. Have a larger group? We'd love to host you! Just send us an email at wine@villacreek.com. We’re best equipped to accommodate bigger parties before noon.
SAME DAY RESERVATIONS. Planning a spontaneous visit? Give us a call at 805.712.8038 and we’ll do our best to fit you in.
KIDS. Bringing the whole crew? We’d love a quick heads-up in the optional comment section when you make your reservation so we can have a seat ready for them.
Camille and Henri Cherry grew up running feral around this property, so we know firsthand how fun it is to explore a working farm! We just ask that kiddos stay supervised and within designated areas during your visit. With farm equipment, uneven ground, rattlesnakes, and other wildlife sharing the property, a watchful eye is important. Thanks for helping us keep everyone safe while enjoying a little farm time!
DOGS. Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome to join you during your visit. Please limit your group to no more than two dogs. For the safety of your four-legged friends, please be mindful that we are a working farm with chickens, sheep, and wildlife, including rattlesnakes.
Our two livestock guardian dogs are very protective and, while friendly with humans, do not respond well to unfamiliar dogs approaching their sheep. We also have several cellar pups who may greet you in the parking lot or stop by to say hello during your tasting. Please note that our resident dogs are not leashed, and we ask that you plan accordingly.
FOOD/PICNICS. While we ask that you hold off on consuming food during your wine tasting, we invite you to enjoy a bottle and BYO (bring your own) picnic afterward. Picnic tables are available by reservation between 11 AM and 2 PM, and a tasting reservation is required to book.
TASTING TIME FRAME. Your wine tasting should take 45 minutes to one hour, check out included. We would be happy to help you map out your day. Curvy mountain roads take longer to travel than you might think.
RUNNING LATE? No worries—just give us a quick call at 805.712.8038 so we can adjust if possible. Same-day reschedules are subject to availability.
ATTIRE. Paso Robles is known for its dramatic diurnal temperature swings—warm days and cool evenings are part of the charm. We recommend bringing layers to ensure your comfort throughout your visit. Indoor seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The goal is simple: good wine, good people, and a memorable evening. We’ll be sharing wines that we’re genuinely excited about, and if you find a bottle (or a few) that you’d like to bring home, we’ll make that easy, too.
There’s no hard sell and no awkward sales pitch. We just ask that guests come knowing that purchasing wine is part of the experience. Those bottles heading home with new friends help make it possible for us to keep bringing these gatherings to tables beyond the Maha®.
