MEMBERSHIP POLICIES

 

AGE REQUIREMENT. Any member of Villa Creek Cellars must be of legal drinking age (21 years of age or older).

COMMITMENT. All Villa Creek memberships are a one year commitment as defined by the number of annual shipments of the membership I have selected (2 shipments for VCLTD, 4 shipments for RESERVE).. 

SKIPPING A SHIPMENT. Any Villa Creek member can elect to skip one shipment after fulfilling the one year shipment commitment. In order to skip a shipment, notice must be given prior to the charging of a credit card for a shipment.

EARLY CANCELLATION. A member can elect to cancel my membership before fulfilling my one year commitment, but doing so will incur a one-time cancellation fee equalling the cost of the benefits received during the time as a member. This fee includes but is not limited to the total sum of all discounts on wine purchased, complementary tasting fees when visiting the tasting room, complementary shipping (Reserve members only), and discounted and/or complementary tickets to pickup parties and other events hosted by Villa Creek.

MEMBERSHIP CANCELLATION. After fulfilling the one year shipment commitment, a member can cancel their membership without incuring any penalties. We respectrully ask that you to request to cancel prior to the charging of a wine club shipment. Requesting to cancel after we have charged for a shipment will result in a 25% order restocking/cancellation fee.

COMMUNICATION FROM VILLA CREEK. Email is our primary method of communication. We use email to keep you informed about upcoming releases, any updates needed for your membership, and any shipments that may be coming your way, as well as keeping you in the loop as to what we have going on here on the MAHA Estate. As such, we ask that you please review all correspondance from Villa Creek.

SHIPMENT PICKUP. Your wine will be stored safely in our warehouse from time of order through to a set “pick up date” clearly stated on all email communications sent around release time. You will receive an email when the wines are ready for pickup. AS WE ARE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY, please book your reservation to pickup HERE. We ask that you book at least one week in advance so that we can make sure we have adequate inventory on site. Failing to book in advance may result in there not being enough inventory on site for you to pickup. If you cannot make it within the designated pickup timeframe, we are more than happy to make arrangements to have your wines shipped to you. If you have an appointment to visit us just outside of the pickup window, we are more than happy to hold your wines for a little bit longer. *(If your club order was charged for shipping and you would like to pickup, we can refund shipping up to one week after the charge date. After this this point we will be unable to refund the shipping, but you can still pick up. Please let us know ASAP if you plan on picking up a ship order. If we don't receive notice at least 2 weeks prior to the ship date, you will be unable to pickup.)

LATE PICKUPS - As a small scale facility, we don't have the physical space to store wine that has already been purchased for extended periods of time. We will send several reminder emails during our designated pickup window. If we have not heard from you and your wines have not picked up by the pickup deadline stated in allocation emails, the wines will be returned to inventory and a credit will be issued to your account. *After issuing two credits due to orders not being picked up by the givien date, your default ship method will be changed from pickup to ship.
